About the BCPVA

The British Columbia Professional Videographers Association was formed in 1994.

Its purpose, when formed, included:

• To recognize special event videography as a specialized field of endeavor
• To promote professionalism among the practitioners in the field
• To provide a primary channel of communication among all those involved in this specialized field
• To provide education to professional special event videographers

The British Columbia Professional Videographers Association meets on the last Wednesday of every month, except for July, August and December, at 7PM at the Community Room to the right of Old Navy in Eaton Center Metrotown.
