Us
The BCPVA has 9 regular General Members Meetings that are open to
all levels of BCPVA members. Guests may attend their first meeting
free of charge. Members and guests are asked to arrive at 6:45
PM. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month. The location
is the Community room of Metropolis at Metrotown by Old Navy. There
are no
meetings
in July,
August, and December. Occasionally a meeting will be
held off-premises. Please contact the BCPVA
Vice President if you would
like to attend as a guest.
In August the BCPVA holds its annual BBQ and video competition.
In December, the BCPVA holds its annual Christmas dinner.
There
are many benefits to improve
your business. To join, you must meet our requirements and
pledge to our code of ethics.

Membership requirements for the BCPVA
Guests
You are invited to attend one meeting. Afterwards, you can join
as an associate member or apply for full
membership:
Associate Members
- Fill out a member's information sheet
- Pay $100
- Attend 5 out of the 9 meetings
- Adhere to the BCPVA's Code of Ethics
Full Membership
- Fill out a member's information sheet
- Pay $200
- Attend 5 out of the 9 meetings
- Adhere to the BCPVA's Code of Ethics
- Submit to the BCPVA executives a video that you have produced
and given to a client. The BCPVA executives will review your video
to see if it meets our professional quality. We look for proper
framing, exposure, edits and audio. If you are accepted, this video
will be entered into our library.
