BCPVA Meeting Feb 26th 2019 – The Top 5 Things we’ve learned in a Quarter Century of Corporate Film Making

Hello BCPVA members and guests,

Please join us this month to learn how the team de Lestard & Hart Television/Media formed a partnership and turned their talents for telling technical stories into a lasting business success. Their presentation will focus on the top five things they have learned over their 25 years together in this business.

Also presenting this month will be Bobby Skaper co-founder of Kinetix Communications, an awarded industry veteran with over thirty years of experience.

It’s a joy and such a learning experience to have this level of industry professionals distill their hard won wisdom for us. Don’t miss this meeting!

Main Presentation

de Lestard & Hart Television & Media

Producing video since 1987 Jim Hart partnered with Shawn de Lestard in 1997 together with their talent for, as they put it “being able to explain any thing to any one” they have specialized in technical documentaries. With many millions in business over the last decade it looks like the partnership is working!

Jim and Shawn will cover for us the top 5 things that have most helped them be successful. The hallmarks of their business, the rules they break, and the rules they don’t break, and not least the lost art of the narrator, a colourful character that can give your production new personality.
