Feb 27 Tuesday – BCPVA Meeting – Pricing For Professionals – Associate Presentations

Hello BCPVA members and guests,

We’re back with a valuable panel discussion on Tuesday, Feb 27th, 2018.

We’ll be at the Community Living Society, located on the 7th floor of 713 Columbia Street in New Westminster (Columbia & Begbie, beside Waves coffee shop).

Networking will begin at 6:30, and the meeting will formally begin at 7:00 and run until 9:00 with a 15 minute break.

1)   Pricing for Professional Productions – Our panel breaks down four diverse productions

One of the wonderful aspects of BCPVA membership is the free flow sharing of hard won skills learned by our professional members. In this case the skill is the art of pricing a production for success. In our open panel discussion, Shawn Lam of Shawn Lam Video, Victoria Loh of Digital Cyclops Productions, Jennifer Shanse of UpperStory Films, and John Porter of Triangle Video will each break down one of their actual productions for us. Competitive considerations, time budgets, line items, the unexpected costs, it’s all invaluable information to professional videographers who want to grow their business – Don’t miss it!

2)    Associate Member Presentations

Luke Paone, co-founder of Stroom Inc will present on Stroom’s Innovative platform for high quality affordable streaming live from a professional camera via Stroom’s cutting edge mobile platform using LTE or Wifi. The latest encoding tech, higher quality 4K streaming, no heavy equipment investment – sounds like a business opportunity that’s right for the times!
