We have  our monthly meeting on June 24, 2015.

1.  Helena Kaufman – presents a topic:  Hook?

Get tips on setting up a good video hook so that you can satisfy your client, guide your team & create raving fans in your audience. The presentation includes Q & A and aims to help videographers save time, stress and therefore, money. The process begins with answering the essential “5Ws” to guide you to plan for success. Then we’ll explore audience expectations of your work from the point of view of an experienced content writer.

Helena Kaufman is an award-winning writer who has created marketing materials and PR campaigns designed to sell, influence, promote and inform. She’s helped clients in both the business and arts communities connect their message to their market for more than 20 years. Helena began her career promoting large scale events for consumers, media and community causes. She also produced two of her own multi-year sports trade shows.

She has served as a unit publicist (film,TV), business communications instructor and the in-house writer during its early years for the Cultural Industries Development Office (CIDO), now Manitoba Film and Sound.

 

2.  Group DiscussionBusiness and Professional Tips
