Hello BCPVA members and guests,

Please join us for an exciting evening on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. As a reminder – our new meeting date is the 4th Tuesday of each month!

We’ll be at the Community Living Society, located on the 7th floor of 713 Columbia Street in New Westminster (Columbia & Begbie, beside Waves coffee shop).

Please remember, networking will begin at 6:30, and the meeting will formally begin at 7:00 and run until 9:00 with a 15 minute break.

1)   Report on NAB 2017 and The 7th Annual VIA Award Winners

Shawn Lam, Former BCPVA President, and Michael Rendulic, BCPVA Executive member, will be reporting back from the NAB Show in Las Vegas to tell us about the awesome new gear that’s out and to announce their selections for the 7th annual BCPVA VIA awards. These awards are presented to companies at NAB who have released new products that are game-changers for corporate and event video producers. In order for products to be eligible, a pre-production or production model must be demonstrated at NAB.

2)    Associate Member Presentations

Terri Casella and Björn Ulfsson will present on their production company, and Prithvi Singh will screen excepts from his recently completed documentary.

Meeting will end with a 15 minute open discussion.
