Making “Whippersnapper” – A Personal Journey

with Jonathan Barth

Jonathan Barth began working as a child actor in Vancouver during the 80’s. After high school Jonathan worked as a production assistant for shows such as Smallville and Baby Genius’s and spent his spare time honing his skills as a screen writer carefully studying the texts screenwriting legends like Robert McKee and Michael Haugh.

Now very close to the completion of his feature “Whippersnapper” Jonathan will be generously sharing his hard won wisdom on this production, covering:  finishing a 3 act screenplay, casting locals, securing locations, filming with impossible time limits, to working with a composer on the score. “I really want to share my experience up to now to anyone who has similar ambitions, as it’s medium anyone can learn if they are determined and passionate about telling their story.”

Meeting will end with a 15 minute open discussion.
