About the BCPVA
The BCPVA was formed in 1994 by a group of local video professionals who wanted to pool their knowledge and resources to pioneer the modern wedding video.
Much has changed since 1994 with digital advancements revolutionizing the way videos are shot and edited. Modern day productions by BCPVA members attain a professional broadcast level of quality with imagination that is internationally renown.
The BCPVA is one of the leading Professional Video Associations in North America and has a very strong membership. The goals of the association have remained unchanged and are still relevant to this day, which is to provide a learning environment where video professionals can meet and share ideas.
The British Columbia Professional Videographers Association meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, except for August and December, at 7 PM at the Community Room to the right of Old Navy in Metropolis at Metrotown. Find out more about the meetings.
