Membership Information
Benefits of being a member of the BCPVA
The BCPVA has 4 different member classifications. We also welcome guests to attend our meeting.
Professional Members
Members who have met our standards of video production. They are true professionals in every way ensuring clients who hire them that they will receive a not only a professional product, but great customer service. All professional members have agreed to adhere to the BCPVA code of ethics and must attend 5 our of 10 meetings per year. Application form is available here.
Associate Members
Members who have joined our association as videographers but have not yet submitted their work for evaluation for professional member status. All associate members have also agreed to adhere to the BCPVA code of ethics. Application form is available here.
Student Members
Students who are currently in school or within 1 year of completing school may join as a student member. They have all the benefits of our Associate Members except for a website listing on the BCPVA website, all at a reduced cost.
Vendor Members
These members are vendors in the video industry. As vendors, you will have valuable access to video professionals who are always looking for your products and services. Vendors are welcome at all BCPVA meetings and may also present once a year to our membership.
Guests
The BCPVA welcomes new comers to our meetings. Guests are able to attend one meeting free of charge. For each additional meeting attended a fee of $25.00 will apply. Guests may apply meeting fees towards a membership (within a 12 month period).
