Feature Presentation
Coaching for Knockout Interviews with Danielle Benzon
Your clients may have the best intentions and they may have slaved over their direct address scripts for ages. But thinking you’re prepared and actually being prepared to deliver a confident performance in front of the camera are not always the same.
So how can you help them?
You’re already doing your best to be a friendly, un-intimidating influence, putting them at ease, encouraging them to speak from the heart, but that’s not always enough. And you have your own job to worry about.
Speaking and presence coach Danielle Benzon will share the tips she shares with her clients to get comfortable in front of the lens on the day, plus some rehearsal and preparation techniques you can recommend to make sure your clients are prepared for the shoot.
About the speaker:
Danielle Benzon believes in the power of the authentic human voice. She is an actor, director, acting coach, and voice coach. Danielle trained at E15 Acting School, UK and the True Acting Institute, USA. She has given speaking and voice technique workshops at UBC, Actorium, Les Clefs d’Or, and other local associations. At the Inspired Speaker Academy Danielle trains speakers of all levels. She specializes in bringing out the unique, natural strengths of every speaker so each individual feels seen and heard and represented. Through this work people turn their stage fright into joy, confidence, and excitement. By showing up fully present both physically and emotionally, they deliver dynamic, engaging presentations and attract their ideal audience. When you find presence, truth, and power on stage, it can’t help but spill out into every area of your life. Danielle also runs the theatre review online magazine and listing Theatre Addicts (www.theatreaddicts.com)

Everything You Better Know about Flying a Drone
With BCPV Member Dave Steinebach
Drones have become an integral part of our society including extensive use in Film and Video. On June 1, 2019 Transport Canada made a huge leap in the right direction by introducing new rules and regulations that will ultimately enable pilots to do more with less roadblocks, yet at the same time ensuring the very high safety standards required to protect the public, other aircraft, and property. Whether it’s for recreation or for commercial use, almost everyone using a drone will fall under the new TC guidelines.
Meeting will end with a 15 minute open discussion.
