BCPVA Meeting Sept 24th 2019 Renting Versus Owning Video Production Equipment

Hello BCPVA members and guests,

Coming up fast – our first meeting for fall, this month we are going to dig deep into the right way to handle a dilemma that all production companies big or small face –  that of Renting Versus Owning. Gear is one of the most expensive parts of running a videography business, with the initial purchase, and then insurance, and finding storage. This presentation brings together a panel of professional members, and special guest Dylan Couper, of vendor member Gearbase Camera Rentals, to talk about the pros and cons of renting and buying.

In addition Dylan will be generously supplying two certificates to be drawn for $100 each toward the rental of equipment from Gearbase. Now who can’t put that to good use?

See you all there!

Panelists:

Dylan Couper – Gearbase Camera Rentals

Jim Hart – de Lestard & Hart Television/Media

Kevin Loh – Digital Cyclops

Jennifer Shanse – UpperStory Films

Moderator:

David Cooperstone – The Studio Video Facilities

Meeting will end with a 15 minute open discussion.
