BCPVA – Important Message

Dear Members,

We hope you are all staying well, and finding ways to deal with the current massive upheaval we’re all experiencing. The BCPVA wants to assist our members through this challenging period. There are a number of ways we are helping:

 Refunds on your Upcoming Membership Dues

 Your next two PayPal subscription payments will be reversed within a week of payment, which will equal 6 months of free membership starting with your next quarterly payment. If you have pre-paid an annual subscription, you will be refunded half of your annual subscription.

 We will also be opening up our meetings to the general public free of charge until June, with the possibility of extending this.

Online Meetings, More Often

 The monthly meetings for April, May and June will be held online through the videoconferencing app Zoom. There is no charge for participants to download the app and join these meetings. These meetings will be held at the regular date and time – 4th Tuesday of the month, open networking starting at 6:30 and meeting starting at 7 pm. Details will be sent out the usual way, through the newsletter, Meetup and Facebook page.

 We will also hold more informal, social meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10 am. The idea behind these sessions is for members to talk to each other about their mutual concerns with their businesses and how things are going in general. There is no agenda, just the opportunity to participate in a little bit of online social interaction.

 The first meeting of this sort will be April 14 at 10 am. The link for that meeting is

 David Cooperstone will be sending out the zoom links for these meetings to the email list.

 Updates on Government Benefits and Other Financial Relief

 We will continue to send out information and updates on government programs and benefits, as well as other financial aid that becomes available. These will be sent out to this email list, as well as through the newsletter and posted to the Facebook BCPVA page.

The BCPVA Executive hopes you and your families are all staying safe and healthy in these trying times. We are here for you – please get in touch if you need assistance or some interaction in your isolation.

 Thank you;

The BCPVA Executive
