BCPVA Meeting May 21 2024

This months meeting features two best practice mini sessions. First up is BCPVA Vice President Stephanie Porter who will guide us through social media best practices for posting, engaging and sharing to create more awareness.

Following Stephanie will be BCPVA President Shawn Lam who will tell us why he replaced four analogue and two digital sound boards he used for live presentations, with 3 new Allen & Heath digital sound boards.

“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.”

A virtuoso behind the lens, Stephanie wields her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors with distinction in Film from Simon Fraser University School for the Contemporary Arts where she is trained in 16mm film, DV tape, HD, and 4K video, and still photography.

A multi-talented leader, she specializes as a film and music video director, content creator for brands, and live events videographer.

Stephanie upholds the legacy of Canada’s largest and longest established professional videographer association this year as she steps forward as the Vice President.
