BCPVA Meeting – November 14 2023

Overcoming Production Challenges

Dorin has been filming and editing videos for over 15 years, running his own video production services for corporate clients and small business since 2017. In these years he has worked on many projects that include documentaries and even music videos.

A longtime member of BCPVA and the BCPVA Executive, Dorin will present on his experience with two recent projects that have had challenges, and he will share how he overcame them. The first challenge was a 40 multi-camera angle (simulated) sequence that gave blue screens of death at simply loading the Premiere Pro Project file. The second challenge was capturing high quality video from a remote guest for a documentary. Dorin will share screenshots, video snippets of these projects, and share some tips and tricks on the solutions used.

Following the break, Associate member Allan (Chia) Liu with tell us a little about himself and his work.
